To celebrate the centenary of our network, the International Social Service - Switzerland sets up an exhibition in the heart of Geneva, at the Quartier Libre SIG on the Pont de la Machine from 19 Septembre 2024 to 24 january 2025.
Through photos, archive documents and personal accounts, visitors will discover the work of accompanying children and families on the path of migration. The exhibition offers a playful and poignant exploration of life's journeys, all evidence of a humanist commitment to a society based on solidarity and non-discrimination.

Dive into a world where music, migration, and integration come together!
This recital of chant and piano, featuring artists with unique backgrounds, offers an emotional experience that highlights the richness of cultures and the universality of music. The concert will be followed by a guided tour of the exhibition at the SIG espace Quartier Libre.

Ornithological walk

Set off on an ornithological walk with the artist Pierre Baumgart, who offers a different point of view on migration. Departure from Bains des Pâquis and arrival at Quartier Libre SIG for a guided tour of the exhibition.

Research on ISS History
October 10, 2024 from 9am to 3:30pm
State of research. Followed by a debate on the decolonization of humanitarian and social work practices. Conference in English. In partnership with the Musée d'Ethnographie of Geneva, as part of the exhibition « Mémoires. Genève dans le monde colonial. ».

This activity encourages children to think playfully about the issue of migration. It is part of the events organized in conjunction with the exhibition "Across time and boders: A century of serving children and families," which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the global ISS network.
